Suzan Bazon is the Innkeeper at the Bluecrest since she founded the B&B over five years ago. She brings to the team over ten years of customer service experience as a Regional Merchandise Manager focusing on store design for large format businesses. Her vision of the luxury spa environment ensuites was accomplished by her design of the extensive renovation of the two buildings. She is a graduate of the International Sommelier Guild and holds the coveted Sommelier Designation and is certified by the Wine Council of Ontario.
Flora Bazon, Suzan’s mother is a favourite of our repeat guests. She brings over 30 years experience of running a bakery. She graciously makes her homemade preserves and prepares many delicious desserts such as her famous banana bread and apple strudel. Her signature French crepe recipe was a childhood favourite which she lovingly served to her two children upon returning home from school for a hot lunch.
Judy Overholt is the room attendant for Bluecrest. She assures the guest suites are immaculately maintained and sparkling clean. Judy brings to the team over 15 years in the hospitality field and most recently was the head housekeeper at a large hotel. The much-requested Blueberry French toast recipe is attributed to her son who is a certified chef, one of her four children.
Scott Hodgkinson is a recent addition to the Bluecrest team as a consultant. Scott has over 15 years experience in the customer service and hospitality field and most recently was a boutique Manager at a local winery. His true passion lies in home design and renovation. He recently built a spacious new deck in the summer of 2005. Look forward to experiencing the changes in the Bluecrest in the coming years and share in his future vision.
The Bluecrest offers you spacious rooms and the diversity of two guest houses. The homes are conveniently the closest B&B in Niagara Falls to both the Falls and Casino Niagara. The homes are nestled on a street off of the main tourist area which provides you convenience with the comfort of a quiet neighbourhood. The property has many areas for you to unwind such has our large covered porch or private balcony. The homes also have professionally landscaped gardens and a spacious deck.

Niagara Falls is located immediately as you cross the Rainbow Bridge from the United States and is within a 20 minute drive from the Peace Bridge in Buffallo, NY. The Niagara River is a link between Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Niagara Falls is a few hours drive from Toronto and Detroit and less than a days drive from Ottawa and New York City. The closest airport is the Buffalo Airport which is within a 30 minute drive. The beautiful and historic Niagara-on-the-Lake is within a fifteen minute drive.
